Hello, and welcome to my blog, Foster Care Around the World! This year at my school, our grade is doing a Making History project. This project is about creating change in an issue that we are passionate about. I chose to do my project on Foster Care. I believe that foster children and foster care is a topic that not many people know about. I hope that this blog will spread the word about Foster Care, and hopefully teach people more about this topic. On this blog, I will be sharing information about foster care and foster children. I want to talk about their lives and what they go through each day. Also for this project, I will be making small keepsakes for foster children. These keepsakes will be small pillows, that are colorful and have quotes on them. I want to send these keepsakes out to foster care centers. The main goal for creating these keepsakes is to make a child smile, and brighten up their day. I hope that when they look at these keepsakes, they will feel happy and loved. I hope that these keepsakes and this blog will spread the word about foster care, and influence at least one person to do something to help foster care and foster children.
