Keepsakes

So far, the keepsakes are looking great! I am knitting them with nice soft fabric, and they look very nice. I want to keep them simple, or put a quote on them. When I make them, I feel like I am giving something to a child that will make them feel happy and comfortable. I want to have these small keepsakes make someone feel warm inside and know that someone will always be there to help them. I cannot wait to send these off to foster homes. I hope whoever gets the keepsake will be able to use them a lot and keep it with them for a long time. I also hope that whoever receives these keepsakes and letters I will send with them will enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them. I feel like through making these keepsakes, I am learning and understanding more what it is like to be in foster homes and how one simple act can make a person feel happy and comforted. I cannot wait for people to receive these keepsakes!
